Fragonia Essential Oil

What does this mean?

Inci:Agonis Fragrans Branch/Leaf Oil

A pleasant, fresh, cineolic aroma with a hint of a citrus note (which becomes more pronounced after a few minutes), mixed with a slight spicy cinnamon tonality and sweet balsamic undertones. The first essential oil ever to be trademarked.

A colourless to pale yellow, volatile oil obtained by steam distillation from the fresh leaves and twigs of the Agonis Fragrans tree.
Please note that we have extremely limited quantities of Fragonia in stock due to supplier issues.
This wonderful essential oil is supplied from just one company in Australia and local forest fires at the start of 2016 burned almost the entire plantation.
Some of the rootstock is already growing back and in 2017 the company were able to plant seed that they had stored, but the first harvest isn't due until 2019.

It helps with digestive disorders including candida.
It is a relatively recent addition to the aromatherapy world but as such, it has had a huge amount of research done on it. Historical Information
There are several varieties of the Agonis plant but only one has the unique chemical profile that makes Fragonia so special.
Large plantings were undertaken and in 2001, one company named the resulting distillation of the oil as Fragonia.
Previously, it had only been identified as an aromatic shrub native to Western Australia.
The foliage of the tree was used to florists to bulk out bouquets of flowers.
