Himalayan Pink Salt Scrub

Mix equal amounts of Himalayan Pink Salt with a vegetable oil like Sweet Almond Oil.

Method:
Stir together thoroughly. Apply to the dry skin and gently exfoliate. You can press harder on problem areas like knees and elbows. Shower off, or even better, lay down and relax in a warm bath and let the salt crystals dissolve.

Thank you for your enquiry.

Please see the below response from our Research and Development Team;

“You don’t need to add a preservative as the high percentage of salt in the product would prevent contamination. However, if you want to add a preservative then you can, just in case water does get into the product during use.

It depends on the percentage of salts in the homemade bath salts as to whether a preservative is needed or not. But, as with the scrub, if you feel that you want to include one it will not do any harm."

Do you need a preservative in this product? Also is it recommended in homemade bath salts?.
