Whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned professional I and other industry experts have designed a range of courses covering the different aspects of natural skin care - from treating specific skin or hair conditions and types to making your own natural cosmetic, beauty and aromatherapy products; either professionally or purely for fun as a hobby.
Over the years that I have been running these courses hundreds of people have benefited from the knowledge and experience that I am delighted to share with all of my course participants. Teaching is my passion and it is my personal commitment to empower as many people as possible to be able to make and use natural, non-toxic and affordable skin care products, either for themselves or for their own clients.

Mike started teaching many Aromantic’s Courses, including our College Courses, soon after he first studied with me about 15 years ago. He also offers consultations via the Aromantic consultancy service.
I continue to be very involved in the design of the course materials and running of the courses, in the Autumn of 2010 I handed over the bulk of the actual course teaching to Mike, who I still call my ‘best student’! Course students love Mike’s passion for what he is doing and appreciate the depth of his knowledge, not only in many aspects of the natural health field but in the Aromantic way of making products. Mike has a wealth of experience in the complementary therapies; he is a practising Naturopath trained in Clinical Aromatherapy and has continued to add to his therapies over the years with reflexology, iridology, colonic hydrotherapy, various forms of massage and ozone therapy. Aromatherapy has always been, and still is, his first passion.

If you’re an aromatherapist, beautician, salon owner or any other therapist working in the field of complementary therapy, you can tailor-make natural cosmetics specific to your clients' specific needs/skin types and conditions and prescribe and sell to them directly. This add-on service is an excellent way to enhance your practice and to support your clients.

Aromantic courses are carefully designed to balance theory with the hands-on experience of making your own products. We explain the important principles and theory underpinning each topic and provide each student with comprehensive fact-sheets and recipes as hand-outs during the courses. We demonstrate the precise technique required for making each product before each student has the opportunity to try for themselves.
At the end of each course students are able to take home the products that they have made, as well as all the recipes and information required to continue making these products at home, in their businesses or in their therapeutic practices. Participants on Aromantic courses gain exclusive knowledge and learn many of the 'insider-secrets' of the natural skin-care industry.
There are scheduled sessions where we give you the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have about making skin care products or treating specific skin conditions and we always strive to give one-to-one support during the courses wherever possible.

Certificate of Completion. You can earn CPD (Continuous Professional Development) points by completing our courses. We rate each 1-day course as 5 CPD points. Please refer to your own professional membership body/association for further details on points awarded.

Payment/Booking for Courses
To guarantee your place on the course/s you would like to attend you must either:
1. pay the full fee for each day, which includes an admin fee of £35 (which is non-refundable and non-transferable to another course). As this option is less admin work for us, we offer a £5 voucher for each course booked 21 days or more before the course begins. The voucher is valid for buying products that you buy on course days. Please see ‘Discounts and offers for products bought on course days’ in the Aromantic’s Course Policy Document.
2. OR pay the deposit/admin fee of £35 for each day (which is non-refundable and non-transferable to another course). The remaining balance is payable before registration and must be paid at least 14 calendar days before the course/s start.

Cancellations Policy
In the event that you cannot attend a course, transferring to another course is no longer possible. We made this decision reluctantly in the summer of 2011 because we have simply had too many students requesting transfers and this has become unworkable.
If you can’t attend a course, you have now have two options:
Cancel (see terms and conditions in our Course Policy document) and rebook another course.
Find someone else to replace you on the course – you will need to sort out the finances between you and the replacement person will then be subject to our terms and conditions, which can be downloaded here.
Notifications of cancellations are only valid if given to us in writing and will only be accepted if sent to us via-email (info@aromantic.co.uk), fax or letter.

Deposit/Admin Fees Policy
Deposit/admin fees (usually £35 and part of the course price) are non-refundable and non-transferable to another course. Once you have paid your deposit, we will not refund it to you, unless Aromantic has cancelled the course.

Concessions
We are pleased to offer concessions for our courses as follows:
15% discount for unemployed, full time students and UK pensioners receiving Pension Credit.
These concessions are in addition to any multi-booking discounts (see below) which may apply.
You must fax (01309 696911) or e-mail courses@aromantic.co.uk your proof of eligibility for a concessionary discount when you register for a course. If you do not provide proof to our offices in Scotland before the course begins we will charge you for the equivalent 15% discount that you received when making payment for your course.
Multi-Booking Discounts
Multi-Booking Discounts only apply to courses when are booked and paid for (either deposit or in full) in one single transaction.
Our multi-booking discounts when block booking in a SINGLE transaction are as follows:
Book 2 courses in the same transaction......................receive 10% discount
Book 3 courses in the same transaction .....................receive 15% discount
Book 4 courses in the same transaction......................receive 17% discount
Book 5 courses or morein the same transaction........receive 20% discount
Example no 1: (booking 2 courses)
If you book 1 x £125 Course and 1 x £130 Courses, it would normally cost you £255, but with your 10% discount, it would only cost £229.50, saving you £25.50!
Example no 2: (booking 2 courses)
If you book 2 x £160 Courses, it would normally cost you £320, but with your 10% discount, it would only cost £288, saving you £32!
Example no 3: (booking 3 courses)
If you book 1 x £125 Course and 2 x £130 Courses, it would normally costs you £385, but with your 15% discount, it would only cost £327.25, saving you £57.75!
Example no 4: (booking 4 courses)
If you book 4 x £130 Courses, it would normally costs you £520, but with your 17% discount, it would only cost £431.60, saving you £88.40!
Example no 5: (booking 5 courses)
If you book 2 x £130 Courses and 2x £160 courses, it would normally costs you £580, but with your 17% discount, it would only cost £481.40, saving you £98.60!
Example no 6: (booking 5 courses)
If you book 3 x £130 Courses and 2x £160 courses, it would normally costs you £710, but with your 20% discount, it would only cost £568, saving you £142!
After you’ve booked
Once you have booked and paid for your course/s, we will send you your invoices for any amounts you have paid as well any remaining balances that are still payable (if applicable to you) and the course joining details.
