Stage 1
69% Boiled then cooled Spring Water
1% Cellulose Gum

Stage 2 (below 40°C)
10% Aloe Vera Concentrate
4% Witch Hazel Hydrolat
4% Chamomile Hydrolat
3% Siberian Ginseng Extract
2% Hyaluronic Acid Gel
1.5% Eyebright Glycerol Extract
1% Cucumber Glycerol Extract
1% Preservative 12
1% Saccharide Isomerate Plus
1% Arnica Oil
1% Lupine Peptides
0.5% Essential Oils of your choice

Method:

  • Add the Cellulose to the cooled boiled water and stir continuously until the consistency thickens. This may take up to 20 minutes or more but it will get there.
  • Place beaker in a bain marie and heat gently to 70C stirring while the gel heats and thickens some more.
  • Remove from the heat and stir while the gel cools to 40C.
  • Measure the Stage 2 ingredients and pour slowly into the gel mixing it thoroughly with each addition.
  • Check the pH of the final product and lower it with a few drops of Lactic Acid if necessary. The final pH should be 5-6.
  • Jar and label.
