Shea & Argan Hair Conditioner

Argan Oil Emulsifying Wax (BTMS 25) Hair Hair Conditioner Honey Moisturiser Hydrating Preservative 12 Shea Butter

A great hair conditioner featuring Shea butter and Argan oil with Honey Moisturiser for extra hydration.

This appears very liquid when bottled but it does thicken up overnight. This means it is easier to get into squeezy bottles.

Stage 1: (above 75°C)
8% Argan Oil
5% Emulsifying Wax (BTMS 25)
2% Shea Butter
 
Stage 2: (above 75°C)
78% Boiling Spring Water

Stage 3: (below 40°C)
5% Honey Moisturiser
1% Preservative 12
1% Essential Oils of your choice
100% Total

Method:

  • Heat Stage 1 ingredients in a double boiler to above 75°C.
  • Put the Stage 2 ingredients into a larger bowl and swap the bowls in the double boiler so that the stage 2 is being heated.
  • Pour the Stage 1 ingredients into the Stage 2. Keep the heat above 75°C and stir for 5 minutes.
  • After the 5 minutes, transfer the bowl to a pan of cold water to cool down quickly whilst continuing to stir.
  • Add the Stage 3 ingredients when under 40°C. Jar and label.
