Skin Care
It is superb for oxygenating facial skin, especially where there are broken capillaries and veins. Ideal to use in mature skin.

Excellent for all skin types but especially effective in oily and dry skin as it balances the production of sebum in the skin, whilst keeping it supple and younger looking.

It promotes the circulation and is a good lymphatic cleanser, so that will help with oedema and cellulite and can be used in creams, gels and body wraps.

Helps to clear congested skin and encourages the quicker healing of wounds with dermatitis and acne prone skin.

As a styptic, antiseptic and cicatrisant, it is ideally suited for men's after shaving products to protect the skin after any small cuts and nicks.

Its diuretic effect makes it effective in cellulite wraps and body sculpting products.

Hair Care
In shampoos and hair masks for oily hair as it will rebalance the sebum production of the scalp. This will also help dry scalps with dandruff.

Useful as an insect repellant in holiday shampoos and deterring head lice.

An effective deodorant to use not only on the body but in the fabric softener compartment fo the washing machine to freshen up bedding.

Use in an oil burner or diffuser to clear a stuffy room.

Suggested Blends
Use with Melissa for hay fever type symptoms.

Add to Calendula infused oil as an astringent.

Combine with Lavender and Rosemary Verbenone as a classic "herbal" fragrance.

Mix with Helichrysum for small aftershave nicks in the skin.

Blend with Lavender, Rosemary and Spearmint for a classic fresh, herbal body wash.

Mix with Lavender and Rosemary for herbal shampoos and conditioners.

Using too large amounts can cause localised dermatitis.
Best to avoid during pregnancy.
Use in small amounts as too much can smell "catty".
