Kokum Butter Conditioner for Frizzy Hair

This will calm down the frizzies leaving your hair feeling softer and more manageable. You may find you need to warm the conditioner gently prior to use as it is rather thick.

Stage 1: (above 75°C)

8% Camellia Seed Oil

5% Argan Oil

5% Emulsifying Wax

Stage 2: (above 75°C)

72% Boiling Spring Water

6% Kokum Butter (crumbled)

Stage 3: (below 40°C)

2% D-Panthenol

1% Preservative 12

1% Essential Oils of your choice (We used Bergamot & Juniper Berry)

Method:

Heat the fat stage to above 75°C in a double boiler and then remove from the heat.

Then add the Stage 1 (fat stage) to Stage 2 (water stage) water. Do not add the Kokum Butter yet.

Stir continuously for 5 minutes whilst keeping the heat above 75°C. Then remove from the heat and add the Kokum Butter whilst the mixture is still hot. Stir to melt it and disperse it thoroughly.

Then immerse the container into a pan of cold water and stir with a spatula whilst cooling down to below 40°C.

Add remaining Stage 3 ingredients and combine thoroughly. Jar and label.
