Hair & Body Butter

The ingredients in this rich butter are excellent for the hair and also superb to use on the body.
Stage 1: (above 75°C)
9% Organic Camellia Oil
7% Mango Butter
4% Argan Oil
10% Emulsifying Wax

Stage 2: (above 75°C)
63% Boiling Spring Water

Stage 3: (below 40°C)
4% Borage Oil
1% Vitamin E
1% Preservative 12
1% Essential Oils of your choice

Total 100%
Method:
Heat Stage 1 ingredients in a double boiler to above 75°C.
 
Put the Stage 2 ingredients into a larger bowl and swap the bowls in the double boiler so that the stage 2 is being heated.
 
Pour the Stage 1 ingredients into the Stage 2. Keep the heat above 75°C and stir for 5 minutes.
 
After the 5 minutes, transfer the bowl to a pan of cold water to cool down quickly whilst continuing to stir.
 
Add the Stage 3 ingredients when under 40°C. Jar and label.

Dear Gracie,
Thank you for your email, please read the below response from our research and development team;

“When used as a hair butter this product is generally left on for a while then washed off. However if your hair is naturally very curly and / dry it may benefit from having some of the butter scrunched in and left on. Very little would be needed at any one time.”
