Description

A tough, attractive squat 15ml clear glass jar supplied with white, ribbed plastic PP (Polypropylene) lid. As this jar is transparent it is ideal if you want to show off the colour of your product, e.g. Coloured Foot Creams, Exfoliants with coloured exfoliating grains, different coloured Face Masks and dry Face Mask Powder Blends, etc. Perfect also for Body Butters, Lip Balms, Solid Lip Gloss as well as travel size product ranges.

Diameter: 41mm; Height: 37mm (incl. lid); Volume: 15ml (to fill 15ml fill just to the bottom of the jar's neck - filled to the very top of the neck is 25ml volume). Label dimensions: Height: 18mm; Width: 130mm.

Tips on how to fill this container?

• When filling quite viscous/thick products that have required heating e.g. cream, you will experience that it is difficult to fill into a jar if the product has been cooled down to room temperature. If it is at room temperature you will most likely need to spoon it into a jar - the problem with that is that the products will not look smooth on the top. To avoid this, fill your jars when the product is cooling down (approx. between  40 - 30 degrees Celsius. If that is not possible you can reheat the product until it becomes pourable. If the product is pourable it  best filled with a spouted beaker or jug.
• To fill 15ml fill just to the bottom of this jar's neck.
• NB Make sure that you don't overfill your jars. If you do, then, when pressing down the lid the product spill out from under the lid. If that happens you have to wipe it off immediately with a paper towel. Also,when making a cream any product it doesn't look good if the lid has been pressed down onto the top of the product, making the lid greasy so, once again, avoid overfilling.

Extra Tips

When selling products, it is best to measure and sell in millilitres (mls) rather than grams (g) to avoid any Trading Standards issues with weighing scales.

Storage and Handling

All of our glass containers are supplied to us in sterile, airtight, durable plastic packaging. Our staff then repack the containers if necessary, into the different quantities that we sell, packing them into sealed plastic bags. When sent, they are safely wrapped in bubble wrap. It shouldn't therefore be necessary to sterilise the glass wear you buy from Aromantic. Using preservatives correctly in your products along with usual hygiene standards will make sure that your products are packaged well, without prematurely growing fungus and bacteria.
