What is it?

Seeds from India/Hungary. Traditionally used to balance the digestive system, it has a beneficial effect on the liver as well as a decongestant. It is a smooth muscle relaxant so also ideal of stress related gut problems and it also clears liver congestion. It will also assist with gout, rheumatism and oedema.

Skin Care

A superb choice for all Skin Care products especially facial products as it tones mature and dry skin and works to prevent wrinkles. It is an effective lymphatic cleanser so would be a good choice in all spa products from creams to gels and body wraps. It calms the nervous system as well as helps with eczema, and any kind of skin rashes.

Hair Care

Very beneficial in shampoos for psoriasis of the scalp. 

Suggested Blends

Combined with celery seed oil it is superb for arthritis.

Caution

Do not use to excess as it can become an emmenagogue so should not be used in pregnancy.
