Used for Lip Balms and Lipsticks. Derived from the leaves of the Brazilian Wax Palm Tree. Creates a protective barrier for the lips so thereby helps to retain moisture.

Because the wax flakes are hard and brittle, a small quantity added to Lipsticks and Lip Balms helps to maintain consistency to these products so that they don't soften in high summer temperatures.

Does not go rancid and keeps for an indefinite length of time. Carnauba Wax Flakes have a melting point of 84°C.
