Description

What is it?

Is a biological active ingredient derived from marine algae. It is a brown liquid. An effective alternative to the animal-based protein extracted from silkworms.

Water-soluble.

Can I add it to oil serums or ready-made products?

You should not add it to oil serums or oil blends as it will separate but you can add it already-made creams, lotions, gels, shampoos, shower gels, hair spritizers/sprays and other hair care products. Simply stir in the correct dose thoroughly.

Recommended dosage and how to use in products

• Dosage: 2–5%.
• Add to the product at the third stage or under 40 degrees Celsius or just mix it in cold as described above.

Tips/Extra Information

To make your own silk gel, add 5% sea silk to an existing (already-made) aloe vera gel.

Storage and Shelf Life

2-3 years (See label). Store at cool temperature in a dark place away from sunlight.

Moisturising &Nourishing Natural Hair Spray

Not a hair fixative type of spray but rather a moisturising and nourishing hair spray you can use to provide protein enrichment, encourage hair growth, provide volume and soothe the scalp, adding silkiness to hair and scalp.

20% Bio-energiser
10% Phytokeratin
10% Sea Silk
55% Rose Water Hydrolate OR Rosemary Hydrolate
5% D-Panthenol

Method for making the Natural Hair Spray

1. Simply measure and mix together in a spray bottle.
2. Spray on hair and rub into scalp for the benefits mentioned.
3. Leave on. Don’t wash out after applying. Apply once or twice a day.
