Produced in partnership with small communities of the South American Rain Forest, this unique, 100% natural blend is of acai oil, andiroba oil and copaiba balsam - all rich in natural antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-seborrheic and anti-acne active components, such as beta-caryophylene, flavonoids and limmonoids.

In Toners, Spritzers and Sprays

Combine anti-acne active formula with hydrolates such as lavender and chamomile. Shake the product before use.

In Anti-Acne Creams, Lotions, Gels, Cleansers and Face Masks

Combine anti-acne active formula with AHA natural fruit extract, D-panthenol, comfrey glycerol extract, and aloe vera concentrate and vitamins A, E and C. Vitamin A palmitate is a must in all acne treatment products as it helps with all skin infections.

In oil-only products such as Face Oils and Serums

Combine anti-acne active formula with vegetable oils high in omega 3 & 6 fatty acids; always use GLA-rich oils such as borage or evening primrose; and fat-soluble vitamins A and E; and CO2 extracts of calendula, chamomile and sea buckthorn CO2 extract.

Anti-Acne Active Formula Recipe

Acne Treatment Oil

30ml Kiwi Seed Oil
25ml Rosehip Oil
20ml Jojoba Oil
10ml Evening Primrose Oil
10mlg Vitamin E Oil (undiluted)
2ml/g Vitamin A Palmitate
1ml/g Chamomile CO2 Extract
1.5ml/g Anti-Acne Active Formula
5 drops Rosemary Antioxidant (CO2 Extract)
0.5%/10-12 drops Essential Oil

Method for making Acne Treatment Oil

1. Simply measure and mix together.
2. Pour into bottles and label.
3. Use morning & evening directly onto the acne.

Acai

INCI: Euterpe oleraca

Acai pulp oil is rich in:

• Flavonoids
• Essential Fatty Acid (Oleic Acid) and
• Phytosterols

These are powerful antioxidants that provide some protection against
environmental damage to the skin, provide action against free radical
damage during the inflammatory process and promote skin benefits such
as moisture retention and regeneration of the skin.

Andiroba

INCI: Carapa guianensis

Andiroba contains:

• Fatty Acid (Omega 9)
• Limmonoids

Omega 9 promotes regeneration of the epidermis, maintaining the natural
moisture of the skin. The anti-inflammatory action is promoted by the
Limmonoids found in the unsaponifiable fraction.

Copaiba

INCI: Copaiba officinalis or Copaiba balsam

Copaiba contains:

• Beta-caryophyllene (sesquiterpene)

Beta-caryophyllene is a natural germicide obtained from the balsam part of the Essential Oil, excellent for preventing infections and inflammations.

The effectiveness (at a dosage of 1.5%) of the Anti-Acne Active Formula has been demonstrated on volunteers.
