Solanum Lycopersicum Seed Oil
Tomato Seed Oil is a stable, heat tolerant oil that is highly penetrating, has superb skin
absorption & leaves no oily residue. It is rich in anti‐oxidants, essential fatty acids,
vitamins, minerals, carotenes including lycopene & phytosterols as well as other key
nutrients that play an important role in promoting healthy, radiant skin & soft, shiny hair.

It is an excellent protection against the oxidative stress caused by free radicals and so can
help delay skin ageing.

Tomato Seed oil is suitable for dry, oily & combination skin, brittle, damaged hair, mature
and ageing skin, cracked lips & general hair care.
It is perfect for use in anti wrinkle serums, face creams, pro‐aging formulae, lip, hair &
shaving products.

It reduces TEWL so helps to improve elasticity & skin tone and promotes the regeneration of skin cells.

It softens hair & helps reduce static making it a valuable addition to a hair serum to be used before heat styling.

Tomato Seed oil is also a useful addition to after sun products as it can help diminish sun damage that has already occurred.

Stage 2:
When the stage 1 is over 75°C, add the boiling water to a larger stainless steel bowl.

ingredients into the large bowl (stage 2) and stir gently without creating air bubbles. Only
when everything is over 75°C, stir continually for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, remove bowl from the double boiler and put into a pan of cold water to cool
it down quickly. Keep stirring all the time.
