A superb skin hydrator and tan enhancer that naturally builds up UV protection in the skin.

It is a transparent liquid produced from yeast and microscopic mushrooms. The product is non GMO and biodegradable.

In short, it accelerates the natural tanning process giving you a faster tan and a deeper and longer lasting tan with an increased natural resistance against UV light along with a reduction of sun induced wrinkles.

It is NOT a fake tan - you must have UV light for this effect to happen and whilst it does protect from the solar radiation damage, it should NOT be considered as an SPF product unless you combine it with a recognised SPF material such as Tisosol.

However, it does not need direct UV light to work so it will also work in the shade to a lesser extent making it very useful for daily skin defence and sports products.

Please Note: If this is going to be combined with Tiosol and used in a product that is intended to be marketed as an SPF product then there are strict rules that have to be complied with.

Skin Care
Collagen Boost & Bronze is a natural tanning enhancer. It improves the tanning process by stimulating the production of the skin pigment melanin.

Add to daily defence creams and lotions because more melanin pigmentation not only gives a deeper and more attractive tan with less sun, but also offers better natural skin protection, improving the natural skin resistance to UVA and UVB light.

This protects collagen and the firmness of the skin from UV damage. Add to decollete gels and serums.

Not only is there reduced collagen damage, but it actively increases the renewal of collagen. Add to anti aging products like  eye gels, night serums and body lotions.

Collagen Boost & Bronze also contains Hyaluronic Acid which is known to be a superb skin hydrator, plumping up the skin and filling in fine lines and wrinkles.

Hair Care
Often, people have lighter tan line where they have been wearing a hat or have had a haircut since they started tanning. Using Collagen Boost & Bronze in a light scalp gel will encourage to skin to tan more evenly.

77% Boiled Spring Water
-------------
2% EmulsiGel Eco

Add stage 3 ingredients and stir again. Jar and label.

When the stage 1 is over 75°C, add the stage 2 ingredients to a larger stainless steel bowl.

Swap the bowls over so the larger bowl is in the double boiler. Pour the stage 1 (fat stage) ingredients into the large bowl (stage 2) and stir gently without creating air bubbles.  Only when everything is over 75°C, stir continually for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes, remove bowl from the double boiler and put into a pan of cold water to cool it down quickly. Keep stirring all the time.

When the cream is under 40°C add the remaining stage 3 ingredients. Combine thoroughly, jar and label.

Historical Information
The history of tanning accelerators has been very dodgy in the past. In the late 1970’s, it was found that Bergamot oil could enhance the tanning process and it became very popular in one particular brand. Unfortunately, it did not tan evenly so it made the skin blotchy and more orange. It was not long before it was discontinued.
