A deep, soft, sweet, woody, balsamic scent that lingers for a long time.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A clear, colourless, viscous liquid obtained by steam distillation of the powdered, dry, heartwood of the sandalwood tree.
 
The tree has to be at least 30 years old before it starts to develop heartwood.
 
According to the Cosmetic Ingredient Database (CosIng), the functions of Sandalwood Essential Oil are: Perfuming.

HOW TO USE IT

Skin Care
A superb oil for hydrating and giving a radiant glow to the skin.
 
Even though it helps to rehydrate dry skin, it also has an astringent effect so it tones the skin.
 
Excellent for dry, cracked and chapped skin so include it in hand creams and foot creams.It soothes the skin.
 
We feel it’s always worth buying the most you can afford of Sandalwood as, even though it has to legally have a best before date, it improves with age.
Hair Care
Use in hair products for both oily and dry skin.
 
Other
Useful in a body wrap.
 
Very calming and harmonising, Sandalwood has always been used for meditation and ritual
 
Suggested Blends
Combine with Geranium for dry and oily skin.Use with Fragonia as an after shave oil. Combines well with Helichrysum.
 
Add to Shea Butter in a foot cream.

Sandalwood albany

The albany is slightly more earthy than the Caledonian. I love the richness and the groundedness that itgives me.This is probably my favourite essential oil.

Organic sandalwood

This is top quality. I have always loved the smell of sandalwood but since ordering from aromantic, I have fallen in love with it even more. I add it to my facial oil as it makesmy skin look radiant.

A good and pure oil.

I can’t comment to much about this oil because I never liked the smell of Sandalwood, but I use it because it has some amazing healing properties. Mostly I use it for adults and children for sore throat, diluted I rub it on throat and chest . it helps a lot for pain and for healing. Beside this it has many other properties
