A strong aroma that is sweet, herbaceous and deeply relaxing.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A green/blue aqua coloured, viscous oil steam distilled from the flowering heads of the German Chamomile plant.
 
According to the Cosmetic Ingredient Database (CosIng), the functions of Bergamot Essential Oil are:Masking, Skin Conditioning.

HOW TO USE IT

Skin Care
 
It contains bisabolol which is nourishing for the skin, as well as chamazulene which is what gives it the deep blue colour.
 
Suitable for dry, flaky and itchy skin.
 
Can be suitable for eczema prone skin and irritable skin if used in small amounts.
 
Hair Care
Use sparingly in shampoos if there is an irritated scalp.
Other
 
Can be used in an oil burner or diffuser in the house.
 
Suggested Blends
Add to Camphor for sports massage.
 
Combine with Lavender in skin products, also suitable for irritable skin.
 
Blend with Mandarin for children’s skin.
 
Add to Calendula infused oil for creams and gels.

CAUTIONS/CONTRAINDICATIONS

One of the most potent chamomile oils so be careful not to overuse, where it has the potential to cause dermal irritation.

Excellent

I love this oil. The aroma from it is amazing - just a few drops on my aroma stone and I soon felt more relaxed and less stressed.
