Inci:Aqua, Acanthopanax Senticosus Root Extract ,Phenoxyethanol, Salicylic Acid

A naturally derived aqueous extract from the root of Siberian Ginseng root. When used in firming eye gels, skin firming serums and décolletage cream, it smoothes and tightens the skin whilst giving a physical “lift” to sagging skin.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A thick, golden coloured gel that is 25% active aqueous root extract consisting primarily of the complex polysaccharides and associated glycoproteins from the root of the Siberian Ginseng plant.

HOW TO USE IT

Skin Care
Reduces the appearance of fine line and wrinkles on the face and body.
 
The lifting effect is apparent in creams and lotions but is more noticeable and effective when applied in a gel or serum.
 
Smooths and tightens the skin so, use in pre moisturising gels or skin firming serums.
 
Excellent for firming up the decollete area in a toner or gel.
 
Hair Care
No direct hair care useage.
 
Other
Use 5% to 10%. Water soluble so cannot be used in oil only products.
 
Use under 40°C or in stage 3 (cool down stage) when making creams and lotions.
Add a little water or water soluble material slowly so that the Siberian Ginseng Extract gets looser.
 
It can take a few minutes to completely solubilise ready for adding to your products.
 
It is a film forming product so it does not penetrate the skin. It is the film forming that gives the tightening feeling and effect. As such, it is best to use a gelling agent that is not too heavy, as that will also sit on the surface of the skin and may appear flaky.
 
As this lifting effect is cosmetic only, there is no advantage to using it in night products.
 
Blend with Coenzyme Q10 in a gel to get a longer term collagen lift.
 

CAUTIONS/CONTRAINDICATIONS

None but be aware that if it is applied to the skin in several layers, it can start to look flaky.

Amazing product

I have used this product for a long time and I just love it. I use it in my creams especially my anti ageing night cream and my very popular anti ageing serum.
