Spray dried juice from the leaves of the aloe barbadensis plant giving a water soluble powder concentrate that can be rehydrated to add to numerous products. 100% organic.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A cream to off white powder with a slight smell. It is spray dried from the juice of the leaves of the Aloe Vera plant.

HOW TO USE IT

Skin Care
Aloe Vera is an excellent emollient making it soothing and calming on the skin.
 
It is extremely versatile and can be used in numerous products such as cleansers.
 
One of its main advantages is that few people have a reaction to it so can be suitable for sensitive and problem skin.
 
It relieves the discomfort of sunburn and helps condition the skin.
 
Add to gels and cooling lotions.
 
An ideal ingredient in anti aging serums and night creams.
 
This effect is enhanced when it is used on a regular basis.
 
This is an ideal choice for all acne-prone skin products.
 
A great ingredient to add to foot gels and foot creams.
Excellent in after shaving lotions and serums as it is a skin soothing agent.
 
A great addition to all skin conditioning products.
 
Blend into facial spritzes and toners to revitalise the skin.
 
Add to baby products where a calming and soothing effect is needed such as nappy rash creams and lotions.
 
Hair Care
Add to shampoos for dry-type scalps, dandruff and itchy scalps.
 
It will also be beneficial in a hair conditioner for the same reasons.
 
Other
It is water soluble, so cannot be used in oil only products.
 
Use at 0.5%. This means 0.5% powder to 99.5% of finished product.
 
It is a 1:200 concentrate so adding 0.5% to your product gives the optimum working level.
 
You can reconstitute the Aloe Vera Powder by combining 0.5% with 99.5% bottled spring water. 5g of the powder will make 1kg of liquid. If you are going to store this you will need to add 1% of your chosen preservative to the amount you are storing.
 
Store in a tightly closed bag away from direct sunlight in a cool environment.

CAUTIONS & CONTRAINDICATIONS

Using an Aloe Vera Gel that has no oil in it can feel tight and drying on the skin.
