A natural liquid soap base that is free from chemical fertilisers, pesticides or genetic modification.

Castile Soap is a name used in English speaking countries for soap made with olive oil originating from the Castile region of Spain.

Castile Soap is made completely from vegetable oil instead of animal fats or synthetic substances. It is not a brand name or trademark but it is from the Castile region of Spain.

NB! Traditionally olive oil was used but due to the higher cost of organic olive oil we now use sunflower and coconut oil.

Due to the straightforward nature of the soap, it means it is more environmentally friendly as there is less waste produced when making it and it is more bio-degradable than other soaps.

Mild and natural bath and cleaning product.

Our Organic Castile Soap not only protects the environment from intensive farming methods and chemical treatment of natural ingredients but also passes these benefits directly to your skin.

First of all you can use it as a hand wash.

Castile Soap can be used for a shaving lather.
As a natural bubble bath & you can add your own essential oils to it.

For general cleaning, dilute it and use in a spray bottle.
Effective when used for heavy duty degreasing.

Recommended dosage and how to use in products
Simply add fragrances, essential oils or other appropriate raw materials e.g. Botanical CO2 Extracts and stir into the Castile Soap thoroughly.

For making body scrubs with Castile Soap
Mix in 1-3% Apricot Kernel Powder together with 1-2% Jojoba Exfoliating Grains. Shake well before use as the exfoliating agents sink.

Remember if adding lavender essential oil this will usually thicken the soap.
