We know how much you all loved the old Base Cleansing Lotion but as one of the main ingredients was discontinued by the manufacturer the time had come to update the recipe.
At Aromantic we take pride in presenting our customers with the best products that we can so we know that you will appreciate the time it has taken to bring you our new Cleansing Lotion from concept to end product. Our team of willing volunteers were very happy to test a variety of samples and provide the R & D team with their honest feedback, without this it might have taken even longer!
Our new and very effective Cleansing Lotion is designed to cleanse the skin gently and remove make up with the minimum of rubbing. It is a rinse off product to be followed by your normal skincare routine.
For waterproof makeup you may need to leave the Cleansing Lotion on for a short while to break down the make up before gently removing it, remember to keep your eyes closed!
It is mild and kind to the skin, leaving the skin feeling soft, supple and nourished.
It is both palm free and vegan.
The pH of this product is pH 4.5-5.
Please note that due to the presence of Salicylic Acid (a component of the preservative) this product should not be used on children under the age of 7 unless it is rinsed off after use.
This is a complete product which does not need any additional ingredients however you may add up to 3% of oil soluble ingredients, including essential oils, if you wish to customise the product. This will not compromise the preservative in the base product.
If you are intending to resell this product, unchanged, please ensure you obtain a revised CPSR in your own name. You will need to contact Oxford BioSciences for this service for which there is a cost of approximately £40.
If you add any oil soluble ingredients you will need to obtain a completely new CPSR from Oxford BioSciences. If any water soluble ingredients are added you will need to obtain both a new CPSR and PET as the preservative may have been compromised and will need to be tested again.
Castor Oil. This is THE best oil for cleansing the skin. it is slowly absorbed by the skin and readily binds to make up and dirt making it easy to wipe off.
Rice Bran Oil. Combines well with Castor Oil to decrease the sticky feel of the Castor Oil making the Cleansing Lotion glide off with gentle wiping. Rice Bran Oil is rich in Tocotrienols (anti oxidants) and naturally contains a liquid form of Oryzanol, a Vitamin B derivative, that helps to keep skin soft and healthy. It is suitable for all skin types.
Emulsifier M. This fabulous emulsifier gives all products the most superior skin feel of any emulsifier we have used making even heavy Castor Oil feel light and elegant. It sinks into the skin quickly leaving a matte finish and provides long lasting hydration. Emulsifier M is guaranteed palm free.
Beta T. An extremely mild, sulfate free, surfactant that helps the Cleansing Lotion wipe off easily
