What can I replace Tamanu oil with to have the same effect on skin? Almond perhaps?

Thank you for your enquiry.
Please see the below response from our Research and Development Team;
“Yes, it is fine to use on the face but be aware that Tamanu Oil has quite a strong natural aroma that you will smell if used on the face.”

Hi,
Can this blend be used on the face as a serum?
Thanks

Thank you for your enquiry.
Please see the below response from our Research and Development
Team;
“With the understanding that all the component ingredients are within their own safe use by dates, I would estimate that this finished product would have an effective shelf life of about 12 months. The level of antioxidant is high but that is to protect the very high level of Vitamin E. Ensure you store the product well and keep it out of the heat and direct sunlight.”

Thank you for you enquiry.
Please see the below response from our Research and Development Team;
“Tamanu oil is still effective at lower amounts you could try decreasing the amount of Tamanu oil and add Shea Butter oil as this is also an effective oil for damaged skin. Make sure that the recipe still totals 100% if you do make any changes.”

Should the tamanu be 36% to be effective?

Thank you for your enquiry. Please see the below response from our Research and Development Team;
“You could replace the Tamanu Oil with any other oil that conditions the skin – but they would not be a replacement for what Tamanu can do. Tamanu is outstanding in its action and there is nothing else like it, sorry.”
