This makes a rich and heavy butter which is slowly absorbed into the skin. Ideal after a bath, intensive overnight treatments or massage. Excellent at hydrating very dry or ashen skin and especially on the legs after shaving.
Stage 1: (above 75°C)
10% Mango Butter
10% Baobab Seed Oil
10% Emulsifying Wax (BTMS 25)

Stage 2: (above 75°C)
62% Boiling Spring Water

Stage 3: (below 40°C)
5% EcoSilk MB
1% Vitamin E
1% Preservative 12
1% Essential Oils of your choice

Method:
  • Heat the Stage 1 (fat stage)ingredients in a double boiler to above 75°C.
  • Add the Stage 2 (water stage) boiling water to a larger stainless steel bowl then pour the Stage 1 mixture into the Stage 2 water. Keep on the double boiler and keep above 75°C whilst stirring continuously for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the bowl from heat and cool down in a pan of cold water whilst still stirring all the time.
  • When the temperature has dropped to below 40°C, add the Stage 3 (cool stage) ingredients. Mix thoroughly, jar and label.
