The powder will thicken up to form a 1% solution gel. Remember though, that if you are adding 1% of this finished gel to a formulation, you are adding 0.01% of Hyaluronic Acid Powder. You should also ensure the amount of preservative you use is correct for the finished product you have made.

Stage 1:
98% Bottled Spring Water
1% Hyaluronic Acid Eco Powder
1% Preservative 12

100% Total

Method:
Whisk together and leave to hydrate for several hours. Jar and label.

Thank you for your enquiry.

Please see the below response from our research and development team;

“That may depend on what the pre-made base gel consists of.
Hyaluronic acid gel can cause products to become thinner in consistency so we suggest you experiment with a small test batch to see if it affects the consistency of the pre-made base gel. Keep to the recommended usage rate as on the website listing. Also check the pH of the end product to make sure it is still within the range for whichever preservative you are using.”

Thank you for your enquiry.

Please see the below response from our Research and Development Team;

“3-5 days, certainly no more than a week, whereas if you include a suitable preservative the product will have a shelf life of 12 months”

If I don’t use preservative in this recipe, how long will the Hyaluronic Acid Gel be usable when stored in the fridge?

Thank you for your enquiry.

Please see the below response from our Research Team;

“Yes, sprinkle to powder over the water and whisk with a hand whisk or a stick blender. It does benefit by being left overnight to fully hydrate.”

Do I add the powder into the bottled water and whisk? Can I use an electric whisk? Do I whisk till all the hyaluronic acid has dissolved and leave for several hours?
