Aromantic's Ready-Made Products have been developed by Kolbjorn Borseth over a period of 22 years. These products are a small sample of what you can make yourself using our Recipes and Raw Materials. They are made to the highest standard, using the highest quality raw materials.

After trying them out you can easily make them yourself or keep on buying them ready-made!

All of our Ready-Made Products are Parabens-free. All of the Emusifiers in our Ready-Made Creams come from sustainable sources of palm oil.

Active Cream 1

This is a special cream formulated for the use on of eczema-prone skin, itchiness and other types of skin problems. It contains Aloe Vera, Evening Primrose Oil, Shea Butter, Zinc Oxide, Vitamin A Palmitate, Vitamin E Oil and different Herbal Infusions. It is especially good for people who have used steroids (hydrocortisone) products on their skin for a long time. (Hydrocortisone has a very suppressive effect on the symptoms of, for example, eczema). Active Cream 1 contains zinc oxide and organic whole leaf aloe vera, which also have a natural suppressive effect. The herbs we have added are organic when available. You can reduce the use of steroid creams and gradually increase the use of Active Cream 1 accordingly – but take some time to do this. (If the cream feels too thick, simply add a little vegetable oil or hydrolate to make the cream smoother for sensitive areas). The cream has approximately 10% aloe vera concentrate to give it extra fluffiness and softness. Apply on the affected areas as often as required.

It is especially good for people who have used steroids (hydrocortisone) products on their skin for a long time. Calendula Balm

Formerly known as Marigold Ointment or Calendula Ointment. We now use all organic ingredients for this product (but it is not certified organic by OF&G) and have made it a slightly softer product, hence the name change to ‘balm’. It is a very rich and fatty balm containing Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Beeswax and Organic Calendula CO2 Extract in Organic Jojoba Oil. Calendula is well known for its healing properties and its CO2 form, it is very effective. The earlier version of this balm was the first product Kolbjorn made in Sweden 25 years ago and it was used to heal all kinds of skin problems.

The Calendula Balm can be applied to different areas of the body for various purposes and treatments:

• It is popularly applied to chapped and worn hands and feet.
• Due the antioxidant properties of calendula, the balm can be applied to skin that has been damaged by free radical action, such as hacks and chapped skin.
• Some customers apply this balm to their legs regularly to help ease the effect of varicose veins.
• It can be used on extra-dry skin patches that need extra care.
• Good for protecting the hands from wind and weather when outside, in the garden, working or taking part in sport or leisure activities.
• Works well to protect hands before and after being exposed to a lot of water, such as washing up dishes, cleaning and car maintenance.
• Helps to relieve the harshness of detergents that are used in washing up liquid and some home cleaning products.
• Use as a night compress for very dry hands/feet or chapped skin or hacks.

Method for Calendula Balm Night Compress:

• Apply the Calendula Balm onto the hands/feet.
• Put on cotton gloves/socks.
• Place a plastic bag over the socks and secure or plastic gloves over the cotton gloves.
• Finally cover again with a cotton glove/sock (this stage is optional).
• Leave on overnight.
• You will see big improvements after a few nights with this method.

Tea Tree Cream

An Antiseptic Cream with Shea Butter and GLA Oils with added Tea Tree and Lavender Essential Oils. Good for the treatment of red patches on knees and elbows.

Tea Tree Balm

Formerly known as Tea Tree Ointment that is excellent for hands and feet. We now use all organic ingredients for this product (but it is not certified organic by OF&G) and have made it a slightly softer product, hence the name change to ‘balm’. It is a very rich and fatty balm containing Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Beeswax and Organic Tea Tree and Organic Lavender Essential Oils. It has been used by customers over the years to heal all kinds of skin problems.

The Tea Tree Balm can be applied to different areas of the body for various purposes and treatments:

• As an antiseptic and protective balm to protect hands before being expose dto challenging environments.
• As an antiseptic foot balm for treating sweaty feet and all other foot problems that tea tree can help with.
• Use as a night compress for skin problems on the feet.

Method for Tea Tree Balm Night Compress for the feet:

• Apply the Tea Tree Balm onto the feet.
• Put on cotton socks.
• Place a plastic bag over the socks and secure.
• Finally cover again loosely with a cotton sock.
• Leave on overnight/or at least 5-6 hours. Remove if itchiness occurs.
• You will see big improvements after a few nights with this method.

Vitamin A Cream

A vitamin-rich, nourishing moisturiser containing Organic Shea Butter, Borage Oil, Organic Whole leaf Aloe Vera, Vitamin E and Vitamin A Palmitate. The idea here was to create a cream without too many raw materials in it as the more raw materials a cream contains, the more chance of involving an allergic reaction. So, this is a ‘simple’ cream with the optimal use of raw materials making this cream so effective.

Our Vitamin A Cream can be used as:

• an all-round vitamin-rich, soft moisturiser for all skin types except oily, combination and acne-prone skin.
• a healing cream to help alleviate all kinds of skin problems. This cream was in fact formulated for my son when he was a baby and had eczema-prone skin. The cream is sold in Scandinavia for this purpose. Kolbjorn healed his baby son’s eczema problems.
• a good all-round baby cream.
• a rich hand cream.
• a rich foot cream.

Vitamin A Cream with Zinc

This cream is exactly the same as our Vitamin A Cream but with added Zinc, which makes it antiseptic and astringent. A vitamin-rich, nourishing moisturiser containing Organic Shea Butter, Borage Oil, Organic Whole leaf Aloe Vera, Vitamin E and Vitamin A Palmitate. The idea here was to create a cream without too many raw materials in it as the more raw materials a cream contains, the more chance of involving an allergic reaction. So, this is a ‘simple’ cream with the optimal use of raw materials that are also very effective.

Our Vitamin A Cream can be used as:

• a healing cream to help alleviate all kinds of skin problems. This cream was in fact formulated for my son when he was a baby and had eczema-prone skin. The cream is sold in Scandinavia for this purpose. Kolbjorn healed his baby son’s eczema problems.
• a good all-round cream for baby bottoms
• a rich hand cream.
• a rich foot cream.

The added Zinc means that our Vitamin A Cream with Zinc can also be used as:

a healing cream for eczema-prone skin (wet and weepy type) as zinc oxide dries up weepy skin.
an antiseptic anti-bacterial foot cream on sweaty and/or smelly feet.
as a gradual replacement for hydrocortisone products as zinc oxide has natural suppressive effects on the skin.

Caution

It dries out the skin with prolonged use so must not be used on dry skin patches.
