A great oil for soothing and calming the skin on the face, body and scalp.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A green oil with very little aroma made by hot maceration of organically grown Chickweed herb (GMO free and not irradiated) in High Oleic Sunflower Oil at a dry herb to oil ratio of 1:6. Then 0.1% Rosemary Antioxidant is added to keep the oil stable from oxidation and rancidity.

Use 1% to 100%.

Oil soluble so cannot be used in water only products. It can be used in small amounts in water based gels that will hold it in suspension.

Heat stable so can be used in Stage 1 (fat stage) when making creams and lotions.

Chickweed Oil works very well with Papaya Seed Oil for irritable skin situations such as when a new hair weave has been put in.

Contraindications:

Chickweed oil is not suitable for use in products designed for children under the age of three. For these products use Passionflower Seed oil.

HOW TO USE IT

Skin Care

Chickweed Oil is excellent for calming down the skin and is very soothing.

The very high Oleic Acid content of Chickweed Oil is excellent for keeping the skin soft, supple and radiant which can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Hair Care

Chickweed Oil is excellent to use after a hair weave when the scalp can feel tight and itchy. It soothes the scalp and softens the natural hair without feeling sticky or greasy.

Chickweed Oil conditions and smooths out hair follicles and is excellent for keeping the hair and scalp healthy.
