Learn about raw materials for Mineral Make-Up and make LIP GLOSS, LIPSTICK, MASCARA, LIPLINER AND EYELINER. You’ll take these products home with you.

Note: this course can be attended without first having to attend any of our other courses. Maximum participants 20 people.

About Cinda Phelps

An Holistic Skin Care therapist and licensed cosmetologist (beauty therapist), Cinda is experienced in the world of aromatherapy and is European trained and certified to make and also to teach the art of making Natural Skin Care products using healing, active ingredients within her formulations customised for each individual skin personality.

A consultant to professionals in the skin care business, Cinda has trained others in Holistic techniques and practices, using her experience and custom blends to invigorate and maximize every treatment to its fullest. Also, an accomplished make-up artist who knows how to blend colours for all types and colours of skin, you may see her at weddings or special occasions demonstrating her talents using mineral cosmetics.

She owns and operates a Skin Care Boutique, practicing her profession in cosmetology, holistic skin therapy, and making and retailing her custom blends. She is the owner and founder of Cinda’s Botanical Blends in Illinois, USA, a company dedicated to making the most natural skin care products available.

• If you aspire/already sell natural cosmetics to the public, either full or part-time, you may wish to create your unique range of natural make-up products.
• Or you may simply want to create your own natural make-up, for yourself or for family and friends – this way you know what you’re putting on your skin!

Course Schedule

9:30: Registration

9:45: The day begins with introductions and overview of basic ingredients used in formulations for making;

1. Lip gloss
2. Lipstick
3. Eyeliners (solid and liquid)
4. Mascara
5. Pencils (eye and lip)
   

10:15: Students will learn to make Lip gloss (solid and liquid)

11:00: Tea Break

11:15: Students will learn to make Lipstick (matte and sheer)

12:00: Break for Lunch

13:00: Students will learn to make solid eyeliners and liquid eyeliners.

14:15: Tea Break

14:30: Students will learn to make mascara.

15:30: Students will learn to make eye pencils and lip pencils

16:30: Clean up time with Q & A from students.

17:15: Course ends

What Students will take home

Students will take home in professional containers: Liquid Lipgloss, Solid Lipgloss, Matte Lipstick, Sheer Lipstick, Solid Eyeliner, Liquid Eyeliner, Mascara, and Lip and Eye Pencils. Recipes and detailed instructions for making professional products.
