Seeds from Mexico cold pressed in the UK. A unique oil! Thin, dry and very soft, it has a silky soft skin feeling & a pleasant smell. Chia Seed Oil has a very similar omega 3 & 6 content to Kiwi Seed Oil, but is much cheaper to buy (about one-third). Due to the high content of omega 3, we have added 0.5% vitamin E oil to secure a shelf life of 2 years.

Skin Care

You can use Chia Seed Oil in the same way as Kiwi Seed Oil: it soothes fine wrinkles and improves skin elasticity, so add the oil to serums, creams & lotions for these purposes. It also soothes the cost of any anti-wrinkle blend! It is good for treating acne-prone, oily and large-pored skin. As it is so silky & soft, it is excellent for sensitive skin too.

In the kitchen

Because of its high omega 3 (ALA) content - up to 63% - Chia Seed Oil can be taken internally instead of marine oils although it is not equivalent to them. It is sold in capsules (not by us) but you could it to your salad dressings/take as a food supplement (1-2 tsps a day). The skin is a natural barrier that controls moisture and temperature in the body. One of its main components is omega-3 fatty acid, and this is an integral part of the skin’s protective layer. When the integrity of this layer is lost, irritation, dryness and peeling takes place. Such events are often seasonal and/or are found in stress areas such as the fold zones (elbows and knees) or the face and scalp, but can be found elsewhere on the body.

70ml Chia Seed Oil
19ml Rosehip Oil
7.5ml/g Vitamin E Oil (undiluted)
2ml/g Remodelling Intense
1ml/g Vitamin A Palmitate
6 drops Rosemary CO2 Extract
10-12 drops Essential Oil

Chia Face Serum for all skin types

Use 1-2 times a day.

67ml Chia Seed Oil
10ml Evening Primrose Oil
17ml/g Vitamin E Oil (undiluted)
2ml/g Remodelling Intense
2ml/g Q10 plus E
1ml/g Vitamin A Palmitate
