- The reason we do not use organic Rose petals is that the colours are not as vibrant or intense as non-organic Rose petals
- When making an infusion of Rose petals, add lactic or ascorbic acid to deepen the red colour of the infusion
- Adding alkaline raw materials makes it blue to green

- Hi! are your rose petals organic? have they been sprayed? and are they edible?
- Thank you for your enquiry. The petals haven't been irradiated or genetically manipulated, they are not organic and they are for cosmetic and skincare use, not food.

- Rose petals will not add colour as such but they will add a great source of potential contamination. They may even turn a murky brown colour which would not be attractive at all. Take a look at the colours section of the website, you will find something to add colour to creams here.
- How are these rose petals packed / handled? Other companies state that their products are packed / handled in premises also handling peanuts, soya, cereals etc. What contaminants might be on/in your product?
- Aromantic only supplies cosmetic ingredients, not food ingredients, and the labelling/allergen rules are different for cosmetics. We so sell some products containing nuts/soya etc., however, we can confirm that all products are filled and packaged in accordance with GMP Guidance with procedures designed to eliminate any risk of cross contamination at every level, from the minute the goods arrive on the premises, right through to despatch to customers. This means there are strict procedures in place to avoid any risk of cross contamination between individual raw materials and between organic and non-organic raw materials on Aromantic premises, such as personal hygiene processes, dedicated storage areas, clean down routines before and after filling, quality checks etc. Although the presence of contaminants in the rose petals is extremely unlikely, unfortunately, we would be unable to give 100% guarantee that any product is completely free from traces of nuts/soya/gluten/wheat/eggs etc because we have no control over the manufacture of these materials and what other raw materials might be manufactured at the same plant.
