What is it?

A great oil to have in the first aid kit - it's tingly, soothing and refreshing if used in small doses. Good oil to deal with issues of the stomach and lungs. All sorts of indigestion, cramps and painful periods, IBS spasms, colic, flatulence and nausea – even nausea from chemotherapy treatments. Clears the head of congestion and catarrh from colds and flu temporaly. It will relieve some migraines, especially those stemming from digestive disorders. It can also clear the sinuses.

Skin Care

Too much can be a dermal irritant but if used at less than 1% it makes a soothing leg lotion of gel for after waxing as it is also a refrigerant. A good choice in a massage lotion or oil blend for sore muscles and aching joints as it is also an analgesic.

Hair Care

Used at less than 1% it is very tingly yet soothing to an itchy scalp in a shampoo.

Suggested Blends

With St. John’s Wort infused oil, chamomile and lavender as a soothing gel or lotion for sunburn.

Caution

May irritate mucous membranes. Can be a dermal irritant if used in excess. Use with caution in pregnancy. Can antidote homoeopathic remedies.
