Magnesium sulphate
Magnesium sulfate is a chemical compound containing magnesium and sulfate and is a commonly occurring mineral. In its hydrated form the pH is 6.0 (5.5 to 7.0). It is commonly called Epsom Salts. Epsom Salts is an excellent Spa Treatment product. When used for soaking in the bath, it can soothe and relax muscle pains, draw toxins from the body, sedate the nervous system, reduce swelling and bruising, is a natural emollient, exfoliator, and much more. It can also help improve itching or rough patches on the skin. The body's magnesium level increases when soaking with Epsom Salts, which is necessary for serotonin, a mood-regulating neurotransmitter that may increase feelings of relaxation and well-being. It has commonly been used for a number of first aid treatments. Use in foot baths, whole body baths, body exfoliating, etc.
