What is it?

Wood from France. A very useful oil that has a great affinity to lung conditions and can be used to help with catarrh and congestion as well as bronchitis.

Skin Care

A superb choice for creams and gels dealing with problem skin especially greasy skin. It very much helps with acne and skin breakouts and even eczema and psoriasis. Fungal infections can respond favourably.

Hair Care

A great oil to help with greasy hair and dandruff. It is also reported to help with hair loss. It has a gentle sedative effect that would be lovely when inhaled in a steamy shower.

Suggested Blends

Lavender works well as a synergist enhancing cedarwood’s effects. It blends well with all other woody oils like rosewood and adds a depth to floral oils like jasmine, ylang ylang and rose. Very pleasant when combined with petitgrain.

Caution

Best avoided during pregnancy.
