Botanical Glycerol Extracts (Organic)

These are exciting new Organic Glycerol Extracts which are made using especially for Aromantic by a qualified organic producer in the United Kingdom. Organic and fresh botanical materal such as herbs, roots, fresh vegetables or fruits are extracted into organic vegetable-based glycerine using a proprietary process that is qualified by the Soil Association. These Organic Extracts are sterilised by filtration so no preservative is necessary to keep the Extracts themselves (but obviously add a preservative as appropriate when adding the Extracts in your formulas and recipes.

This extraction method extracts most of the water and fat-soluble ingredients from the fresh botanical material. This is therefore a combination product, which has a humectant moisturising effect on the skin as well as the benefits and properties of the botanical material used.

As Glycerine is water soluble it is very convenient to use in water-based products. Use it as a humectant moisturising ingredient in creams, lotions, peelers, deodorants, face masks, hair packs, toothpastes, shampoos and liquid soaps.

Add the Extract when your recipe is under 40°C or add it directly to cold products.
