Herbal Tinctures

Tinctures are liquid extracts of the soluble constituents of plants and are made by placing dried or fresh herbs in alcohol. The alcohol serves two purposes: preservation and extraction. Our fresh Herbal Tinctures are typically made in the ratio of 1 part herb to 2 parts of alcohol and are produced to maximise vitality and to ensure that the active ingredients are at their most balanced.

Our dried Herb Tinctures have a typical ratio of 1:5. All of these Tinctures are prepared over a 4-week period. The alcohol in our Organic Tinctures used is certified organic and produced from rye.
